Do i need a specific soft start for my rv ac units? Not sure what make they are I have 3 units. Let me know what you recommend. Thanks

Hey Rich! You do not need a brand-specific soft start for your AC units. Since you have three units you can use the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Dual Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR44FR and then add a third soft start with # SSR54FR. These are universal so they will work with whatever AC models you have.
What kind of RV/trailer do you have?

We ordered 2 Soft Starts for our 2021 Newmar Baystar 3626 with Dometic Penguin a/c units. I was going to try a "self install", but changed my mind after taking the covers off. Used a local (San Diego area) mobile service for installation. Happy with everything. Make sure the wires are secured to the side away from anything they might come in contact with. During a recent trip the bedroom a/c tripped the breaker several times. It ended up being a loose wire that came in contact with the blower motor shaft. Not related to that we discovered the a/c motor had a bad bearing and needed replacing.
