Question:

Hi there, will this work on my 50 amp rv with 3 a/c units? Also, would I need to buy the soft start modules for each individual a/c unit as well or will this device replace that ?

Hey Joe, thanks for reaching out!

The SoftStartUp Plug-In Soft Start for RVs # SSR64FR will work for 2 AC units, so if you only plan on booting up 2 of them then you'll be fine.

If you're wanting to use all 3 ACs then I recommend installing the Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR as well as the Kit # SSR44FR so you have a Soft Start for each AC unit.

Since these are a permanent installation you won't have to remember to plug them up prior to starting up your AC kits.

Hello, I'm a little confused. Are you saying in order to run all three AC's in 50 amp trailer, you recommend installing a soft start at all three separate AC units rather than use the softstartup plug at the power pole, connected to surge protector? Please email me answer.

@Kenneth If you only plan on using 2 at a time, then I recommend the SoftStartUp Plug-In Soft Start for RVs # SSR64FR instead. The individual SoftStartUps I mentioned earlier would install on each AC unit, but the Plug-In would just plug in at the pedestal.
