A better option would be Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable # TC372. This has a 72" cable and comes disassembled so it would be easy to trip the cable down to size before you assemble it.   The length of the Valterra Waste Valve front to back part # T1001C is 4-1/2" long. It measures vertically 8-3/4" with the valve open and 6-3/4" with the valve closed.
