Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Volterra Waste Valve Body with the Flexible Cable. This is gonna replace the valve for your RV's black water tank. It is the standard three inch diameter, so it is going to allow your wastewater to travel freely when you have it open. We do have this 10 foot long flexible cable that will allow you to control that valve, so you can mount it remotely wherever it's gonna be most convenient for you to access.
You can get the valve mounted back in a more remote location where it would be difficult to reach, and then you'll still have access where it's gonna be convenient for you to handle. So this cable can be cut down to fit your application. So if you don't need that full 10 foot length, you can cut it down. This does have an inner wire that's constructed of stainless steel, so very simple to get put back together again at that shorter length, if you need it. The valve body, the flexible cable, and the seals, nuts, and bolts are included for you, so that you have everything that you're gonna need to have a operational valve for your setup.

These valves work well for about 6 months to a year will full-time useage. Will need to be replaced every few years.

New black tank valve assembly did not fix problem. Opening and closing is still very stiff.
