Keeping grease or oil where it belongs is key to protecting your hub and axle components. These unitized oil seals create a dependable barrier against leaks and outside elements while handling demanding towing conditions.
Seal numbers are not always listed the same way across axle and hub brands, so the cross-reference data gives you another way to confirm the replacement before the hub comes apart. This Lippert unitized oil seal matches the following common seal numbers:

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Lippert unitized oil seals. So folks, unitized oil seals like this provide that protective barrier keeping the oil inside of the hub and from the outside elements. So what happens is this will retain that oil or grease in some case giving you long lasting performance and this prevents leaks while supporting the whole operation. So this is a dual action seal.
It stays fixed on the spindle itself while the outer casing is what rotates with the hub. And again, this is made for oil, but it does work for grease as well. So you have flexibility here for different maintenance preferences and this has been made to withstand high temperatures, the varied axle conditions that are out there and those kind of things. And it's pretty much compatible with all trailer hubs that use the same size. Now this is mainly going to be a 10,000 pound axle capacity, 2.875 inner diameter.
And the outside to outside, I got 3.875. So very important that those two measurements match up and that's what you're using to make sure these are going to fit your application. Again, you're going to get quantity two. These are the Lippert united size oil seals. I'm Steven.
Thanks for watching.
