Question:
Can this adapter be used with a weight distribution hitch? My Sierra AT4, has a factory 2” lift. I need to the hitch height to connect my Eaz-lift r3 weight distribution hitch at the correct height. Wanted to be sure this adapter can handle the pressure that the weight distribution hitch will put on it. It’s a 6000lb hitch pulling a 5000lb trailer.

Hey, Anthony!
The etrailer High-Low adapter # e85ZV can't be used to tow a trailer, so it wouldn't be able to be used with weight distribution. I looked into the Eaz-Lift R3 system that you have, and the shank that comes with it only has a 3/4" drop. You can get a different shank that would give you more of a drop. The Blue Ox part # BXW4003 should give you a 4" max drop.
The Eaz-Lift R3 is unique in that round bar systems usually hang low, but yours sit up over the head. So the Blue Ox mount may give you a slightly different drop, but you can adjust it so it sits where you need it to.
Are you hauling a trailer or a camper?
