Hey, Jeff.

More than happy to help you out. I checked into the older Tie Down model 70CL and it looks like it was rated for 7,000 lb disc brake setups. The Demco DA75 actuator part # DM33CV would be a great replacement. Their EZ latch makes coupling and uncoupling a breeze, and it comes with an electric lockout so the brakes won't lock up when you're backing up.

For brakes, that may get a little harder to do. I know we will have something that works but if you are looking at keeping the mounting flange on the trailer, I would need to know what kit you have. Usually the caliper will have a big number on the face of it. I have included a picture below showing the number I'm referring to.

However, if you want all fresh, that would be a lot easier. I recommend DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit part # DE53YR. The quality of the disc brakes is truly long lasting.

When do you get to take the boat out on the water next?
