Question:
I am running the 90-00-1600 1600lb/16k 2.5inch Equalizer setup. My new camper is going to be about 900lbs tongue weight instead of the 1400lbs of my old one. Can I use this extended shank with a 2.5 to 2 reducer sleeve in my receiver then attach the head from my 16k model to this shank?

Hey Kevin, yes you can do all of the above. You can use your current Equalizer head with the longer shank part # EQ90-02-4500 that you referenced and you can then use this with a 2.5 inch hitch adapter as well. Do you have a 2.5 inch hitch adapter already? If not, we have the BulletProof Hitch adapter part # BPH75YR.
