Question:

Im looking for bearing kits for single axle 1986 Calkins Boat Trailer GVWR 3500 lbs Any suggestions? Thanks Jeff

Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out. We do carry a bearing kit for a standard 3,500 lb axle, the Hub Bearing Kit # BK2-100. This comes with the # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing, # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing and 1.719" ID/2.565" OD seal. Your axle should use this same standard sizing, but since it is so old I do suggest you pull a hub and double check those bearing and seal dimensions just in case. If you find something different is needed just let me know the specs and I am happy to look into it.

As Jesse states, best to measure your current bearings, and look for any part numbers. I used this kit on my 2006 Karavan tandom axle (3500lbs) boat trailer. I do have a spare set to be prepared.

@TerryP Hey Terry, thanks for sharing! Yea really any 3,500 lb axle made within the last 20-25 years should use that same standard bearing combo. When we get into older stuff its not as cut and dry and is definitely best to measure.
