Hey Kenny. To install a Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90885 in your 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe you'll need to use the universal harness included with the brake controller. That universal harness is item # 7894 if you need a replacement one.
The 2007-2013 Tahoe's do not have a plug in adapter. GM ran and bundled the wires together for you but they didn't put a connector on the end of them. They're located directly behind the brake pedal underneath the dash as shown in the picture below.
The wires can be identified by a white label and the color of the wires. The wire colors are Red/Black wire, that's your 12v black wire, White wire, that's your ground white wire, Light Blue/White wire, which is the brake light signal that'll be the red wire and a Dark Blue wire, which is the blue wire on the brake controller harness.
You'll need to use a circuit tester like item # PTW2992 to find the brake light signal/switch. It'll be the wire coming off of your Tahoe's brake pedal that only has voltage running through it when you press the brakes.
I linked a help article below that goes into more specific detail on how to get a brake controller wired up in your Tahoe.
What kind of trailer are you pulling?

I bought two of them. I used them on Jeep Wrangler JKU's . They work perfect to slow the RV down. I had to wire in an entire trailer brake system on two Jeeps. I recommend this part!!

Thank you so much for the reply. We just picked up a 19’ Jayco light to get our feet back into camping
