The Internal Tire Sensor item # TM46FR is a 1.2" nickel-plated internal sensor designed for high-pressure applications up to 200 PSI. It provides real-time pressure and temperature data. The sensor has a 12-year battery life, a 5-year warranty, and fits 0.453" rim holes.

@Dave You're welcome! The Internal Tire Sensor item # TM46FR are way better. You don't have to worry about them being damaged or stolen. Unless you get the more expensive pass through sensors you have to remove them to add air to your tires. To pair the Internal Tire Sensor item # TM46FR, you'll need to go to Learning Mode on your display monitor or mobile app, select the specific tire position, and activate or inflate the corresponding tire to sync the sensor. To get to learning mode you'll need to start your system and make sure it's in Monitoring Mode. Then Pdess and hold both the outside left and outside right buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep and see a L pop up.

@Dave Hey Dave: I had the external sensors for years and they are a nightmare, especially on the rear dual tires. I opted for the internals mostly out of desperation. I determined if they would not solve the problems I was just going to scrap the whole system, mainly because of the issues using the externals on the rear duals. I now wish I had opted for the internals for all of the tires, front and rear. No issues getting them recognized in the system, and no further drama for their usage. More accurate that the externals, and once they are in you have no other action with them.
