I’m changing trucks, one GMC Sierra to newer one. Are these Anderson hitches easily transferred to the newer truck? It’s currently perfect in our 2015 gmc 3500 duramax. It will be moved into a 2023 gmc Sierra 3500. Thanks for any help. We love our Anderson hitch!!

Hey Ellen! Yes, the Andersen Aluminum Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection 2 Gooseneck # 3220 is easy to transfer between the trucks. This will fit over a standard 2-5/16" gooseneck ball in the 2023 Sierra 3500. Does the new truck have the puck system/prep package?
If it doesn't come with the prep package you can install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1020. If you do have the factory prep package you can use the Andersen Ultimate Connection Adapter for Factory Gooseneck Hitches w/ Pop-In Balls # AN27VR to make your connection.

Hey Ellen, how did the transfer of your Andersen hitch go with the new Sierra 3500? I’m curious if you used the B&W gooseneck hitch or the Andersen adapter for the connection. Your update could make it easier for others upgrading trucks.
