Hey Bert, the biggest difference would be the Load Range which is a fancier way of saying the weight capacity. The Continental 235/75R17.5 HTR2 LRH has a Load Range of H whereas the Provider 235/75R17.5 LRJ is a Load Range J which means it has a higher weight capacity at 6,005 lbs at 127 psi. It also has a higher ply rating at 18 compared to the Continental which is 16.
Another really big advantage to the Provider is that it has a higher speed rating of 81 mph whereas the Continental is only rated for 68 mph. I'm not sure how fast you'll be driving but it would be nice to not have to worry about exceeding the speed rating accidentally on the highway which can cause premature failure. What will these be going on?

I replaced the original Goodyear H rated tires with the Provider J rated tires on my 19K 42’ RiverStone fifth wheel in 2023. The only issue I have had was scrubbing wear on one tire that I believe was due to misalignment. That tire is now the spare and the replacement is looking good. The rest of the tires look good after around 6000 miles.

The tires are going on a DRV 39’ 5th wheel, replacing Michelin 215/75R17.5 J. Another option is the Continental 235/75R17.5 HTL2 ECO Plus J. Quite a difference in price?
