Hey Rob! Yes, the Plowser snow plow # PL53YR will work on full-size trucks like an F-150 or Silverado 1500 as long as it has a hitch and it’s used within its intended residential limits (not commercial or road use). It slides right into a standard 2 inch hitch and doesn’t require any wiring, hydraulics, or in-cab controls. It's ready to plow your driveway right out of the box! If you have a different sized hitch receiver, you are allowed to use adapters per Plowser.

With larger trucks, the best results come from slow, straight passes and letting the curved blade roll the snow forward. It’s not meant for aggressive pushing or breaking through frozen piles, but for normal driveway snow it does a really nice job without the weight or complexity of a traditional plow.

About how wide is your driveway? That’ll help decide if the standard 78 inch blade is enough or if the optional extensions (sold by Plowser) would be worth considering.

Driveway is about 24 feet wide and maybe 80 feet long. Mostly flat. I’m not trying to plow the street or anything, just want to stop shoveling. Might use it on my relative's longer private drive if it works good for me. thanks.

@Rob That’s a great size for it, Rob. A driveway like that is right in the Plowser’s wheelhouse, and the standard 78" blade should cover it efficiently without needing the extensions (sold separately at Plowser). Slow, straight passes and you’ll be surprised how quick it goes, with less effort than shoveling of course!
