Is there a similar hitch extension for the Ram factory hitch? I need something 24 inches long so that I can carry a dirt bike while my Lance is on my truck. I have a Ram 3500.

Hi George!
I have a way to basically recreate the TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension for 3" Factory Hitch Receivers - 24" Long # TL66CR that will fit your 2016 Ram 3500, but there is not one specifically for a 2-1/2" hitch, unfortunately.
So what you will want to start with is the Reese Hitch Box Extension and Reducer for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 24" - 34" Long # RP45292. You would then want to use two of the Replacement Turnbuckles for TorkLift SuperTruss Safety Chains # TLS9011 as well as something like the JR Products Quick Links - 1/2" Diameter - Qty 2 # 37201345. The last thing you will need is some chain, but you will need to measure to where you would mount them to figure out how much you will need.
Alternatively, do you have a front mounted hitch installed? You could use the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C31067 and then something like the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs # UF48-979033, if you don't already have a carrier.
Also what kind of dirt bike do you have? I want to find an older one that I can fix up and turn into a trail rider.

Hey George, how did things go with the Reese hitch extension setup for your Ram 3500? Did it give you the clearance you needed to haul your dirt bike with the Lance camper on? Your update could make it easier for others working with a similar setup.
