What is Weight Capacity of Torklift Cannon Hitch Extension # TL46CR

Why is the trailer/tongue weight rating of this 21inch extension TL46CR rated at 4800/480 lb, while the same 24inch extension TL66CR has a trailer/tongue rating of 5000/500 lb? It seems like the shorter extension should have a higher rating.

Hey Kyle, so I checked with Torklift and we actually have the numbers wrong on the 21 inch version. The # TL46CR is actually rated for 550 lb tongue weight and 5,500 lb total trailer weight.
