Looking For Grease Seal With 1.219" ID And 1.979" OD
Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 01/13/2026 >
Question:
I believe I have a BT8 spindle on my Valu Line boat trailer. I pulled the seals and wanted to replace them, but I can’t find one the matches the measurements on the double lip seal which is 1.219 x 1.979 x .25. Someone told me that the seal I need is a 12192TB. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Eric, thanks for reaching out. We do have a seal that matches the OD you need, the Double Lip Grease Seal # RG06-010, but this has a 1.249" ID. I am sorry to say we don't have anything with a 1.219" ID.
Our records show the 12192TB seal is an older seal number and it has a 1.249-inch ID and 1.983-inch OD. Are you sure this isn't what you need?

Hey Eric, did the Double Lip Grease Seal with the 1.249-inch ID end up fitting your BT8 spindle? Knowing how that worked out could help others trying to match older 12192TB seals.
