Does Demco Base Plate DM78UV Fit 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor?

Question:
I need verification on the base plate for the 2025 Ford Ranger. Does that fit the Raptor series and please verify the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor is flat towable behind my RV? I keep finding conflicting stories. Thanks, Joe

Hello Joe, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor can be flat towed. Just make sure you follow all the steps and procedures listed in your owners manual.
As far as the Demco Base Plate # DM78UV, this does fit the 2025 Ranger, but it will NOT fit the Raptor model. I double checked with my contact at Demco and they confirmed this.
For the Raptor model you will need either the Blue Ox Base Plate # BLU77ER or the Roadmaster # RM23DQ. Both of these are confirmed to fit the Raptor. We will just need to make sure the base plate matches up with whatever tow bar you are using.
