Question:
Can I install this without wiring it into my trailer?

Expert Reply:
Yes, Rob - that’s one of the big advantages here with the PingMaster trailer tracker systems. The 3000 with WiFi backup # PM84FR, 5000 # PM64FR, and 5000 with WiFi backup # PM74FR are completely self-contained. They mount using the built-in magnet or included screws, with no wiring or battery hookups required. They have a built-in battery that lasts 7-12 years depending on which one you pick.
Most folks hide them under the trailer frame or inside a plastic enclosure with some exposure to open air. Have you picked a mounting spot yet?
