I'm on a budget and need to replace a rhino pin box with a gooseneck pin box. I also do NOT want air bags. Is there a cheaper option than the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Lippert Rhino - 30K GTW - 6.5K TW Part Number: GY45GR

There sure is Steve. For an affordable way to add a gooseneck pin box to your 5th wheel trailer, I recommend the Gen-Y Hitch Nomad 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY37ND. This pin box also fits a Rhino bolt pattern and has a similar auto-latching coupler.

You will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY49GR. Safety chains are required for gooseneck connections and they are not included with the pin boxes. These will attach to that cross looking cutout by the Gen-Y logo.

What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have?
