Recommended 15,000 Btu Ducted AC System w/a Heat Pump

Updated 11/25/2025 | Published 11/23/2025

Question:

Hello, I’m looking for an Advent Air unit that is 15k ac with the heat pump not the heat strip. Also I need it to be the ducted version. Could you please send me links or information that matches this? I’ve scanned the website and found a few that all have the same model number but the specs always differ. Thanks!

Hey Chris. None of our Advent AC systems have a heat pump. The newer R32 systems like the Advent item # ADV92SR, you were looking at, do not have that feature. You can only add the item # ADV34QR heat strip.

The only AC's we have that include a heat pump would be the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump item # GE75ZR in black or item # GE85ZR in white. These are both ducted 15,000 btu AC systems that include a heat pump, air distribution box, and thermostat.

What kind of trailer or motorhome do you have?

You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

I have a 2013 forest river unsealed 3120ds. Currently I have 13.5k domestic system but wanna upgrade. Are the GE pnp with the dometic kit or do I need a whole new thing?

@ChristopherL Right on, nice setup! No, the heat pumps are built in on the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump item # GE75ZR in black or item # GE85ZR in white. You'll need to replace your entire Dometic system. The refrigerant in AC systems was changed over to the new EPA mandated R32 at the beginning of the year. No components on your current Dometic system are compatible with anything that's labeled R32 like the item # ADV92SR you were originally looking at. If you're planning on upgrading, I strongly recommend installing one of the new R32 systems. Once the old 410a refrigerant ones sell out they won't be available down the road and replacement parts are going to be hard to come by.
