Can Thetford C402C Cassette Toilet Mount Without Service Access Panel to Outside

Question:

Can this be installed inside an enclosed trailer without a service access panel to the outside? How much space would be needed on the side of the toilet where the cassette handle is and it rolls out in order for that to work? Or would there be another cassette style toilet that would be a stand alone unit including its water and holding tank that could be emptied by pulling it out inside the trailer instead of outside? The back would be against a wall but the sides would not.

Hey Alea, you can mount the Thetford C402C Cassette Toilet # TH99UE in the orientation you mentioned. As long as you have access to the sides of the toilet you don't have to mount it through a wall.

How much space on the side of the toilet will be needed for the cassette to be removed?

@Alea The cassette runs almost the entire length of the toilet so you'd need at least 26 inches for it to slide out and pulled out. More would be better/easier though.
