Hi Michael!
To pull an 8,000 pound trailer (safely) with your 2019 Ford F150 with the 5.0 V8, I recommend grabbing one of the following systems:
Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # FA92-00-1000
Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control for 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # BXW1000
Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 12K GTW, 1.2K TW # RP66560
Any of these three would be very good options for you. The Blue Ox will be the easiest to set up initially and the chains do make it a little easier than the bars that snap onto brackets on the Reese and Fastway, but it is also the most expensive. It also has the most narrow tongue weight range, so that is something you want to keep in mind (you want to be as close to the middle of the system's capacities as possible).
The Reese and Fastway systems will take longer to set up the first time you use it, but I prefer these over the Blue Ox. Both of these have better tongue weight ranges and will also offer more sway control than the Blue Ox. Both are also less expensive, but you will need a ball to go along with them as they do not come with one (the Blue Ox does include a 2-5/16" ball). If you do not have a spare, the # 19286 would work very well for either of these. The Thin Walled Socket # EQ70-00-4800 will make installing the ball on the Fastway a lot easier as well.
One thing to note as well, you will want to set the air bags you have before setting up the weight distribution system. Doing so the other way around will negate all the work you just did getting the system where you need it to be.
This is quite a bit to take in, so just let me know if you have any questions about these or any others you have found. Also, what are you typically towing?

What about the bw continium. I know it's more expensive. From what I read.. easier to use?
