Question:
I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71. Do they make a plug and play adapter for this vehicle? Not sure if the 3016P will work on my vehicle.

Thanks for reaching out, Dan.
I double checked with Tekonsha, and it looks like they don’t offer a plug-and-play harness for your 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. I also reached out to Curt just in case, but they don’t have one available either.
The good news is that the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 part # 90195 includes a harness that allows you to hardwire it directly into your Colorado, so you’ll still have everything you need to get it set up.
While we don’t have an installation video specifically for the 2018 model, we do have ones for the 2015 and 2022 Colorado, and both show the same wiring setup for connecting a brake controller. I’ve linked one of those videos for you below, it should walk you through the process step-by-step and give you a great idea of what to expect.

Hey Dan, how did things go wiring the Prodigy P3 into your Colorado? Did the video for the earlier models give you the guidance you needed? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
