Can I Ground the Opti-Brite LED Work Light to a Trailer's Ground Wire?

Question:
I am looking at getting a pair of floodlights to use as back-up lights for my boat trailer. I know that i can get power from the reverse pin on my 7 pin trailer plug on my truck. Do I just use the ground wire on my trailer for the ground on the light?

Yes, you can Jim. You'll definitely need to use your trailer's ground wire if you have an aluminum framed trailer. The Opti-Brite LED Work Light item # TLL48FB you were looking at can also be ground directly to the trailer's frame if it's steel. These lights measure 4-1/8" wide x 6-3/8" tall x 2-1/8" deep and have an output of 617 lumens.
What's your trailer's frame made of?
