Do I Need A Stop Light Switch When Using The Curt RVI Series Shadow 2?

Question:

I purchased the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit for our 2020 chevy spark LS and need to figure out what wire to use to communicate with the Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System - Wireless Monitor - Proportional - Fixed. I understand where to put the power line from the switch kit ... but do not know where to connect the wire that communicates with the breaking system. Thank you - Tracee kelly - Springfield il. Hey Tracee,

I reached out to Curt about this braking system and stop light switch. Per Curt the stop light switch is not needed to be installed in your setup. The Curt RVI does not need that in order to work so that is not a part that you will need in your setup.

What kind of coach are you pulling the Spark with?

We are pulling with a 2021 Leisure Wonder on a Ford Transit chase. eTrailer DID sell me this part as part of my setup. Can you double check that I can do without it?
