Does the ST95MR add steering resistance in tight turns or just keep it straight on the highway? motorhome is on freightliner xc frame

Good question, Carol. The # ST95MR provides most of its resistance near the straight-ahead position - it doesn’t fight you in parking lots or full-lock turns much at all.
On the highway it gently centers the wheel to keep your coach tracking straight through wind or ruts. Once you’re below about 10 mph, the centering force drops off.
It’s a great balance of stability and maneuverability, especially on heavier Freightliner chassis like yours.
