Looking For A Replacement Converter For My PD9260C That Can Handle Lithium Batteries

Question:

Good day and thank you for any assistance you might have. I’m looking at changing out my AGM batteries and replacing them with Lithium ones. My 5th wheel’s existing converter is the Intellipower PD9260C. Can you suggest a unit that will accomplish what I’m looking to do? Is there any other changes that I’d need to make? Thanks, Ron

Hey Ronald,

Besides replacing the batteries themselves, we have a converter that is a good replacement for yours to tackle those lithium batteries. The Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series # PD79RR is what I would recommend. It is similar in terms of power and amperage output, but features the charge wizard which is going to adjust current when the batteries reach full charge so you don't risk over charging them.

What kind of trailer are you wanting to replace this in?
