Question:
Are the AM22697 wheels enough to handle a GVWR of 17100 lbs? I’m planning on purchasing the original GOODYEAR ENDURANCE ST255/85-16 tires for them. They will be installed on an 2023 Forest River Rogue Armored, 5th wheel toy hauler Thank you

Hi Richard!
How many of the HWT Aluminum Hi-Spec Series 6 Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 # AM22697 are you looking for? I only ask as they are being discontinued and we do not have four in stock (pretty sure you have 2 axles). Once the ones we have are gone, we will not be getting any more, unfortunately. One other thing to note, they are rated to 3,200 pounds, so they may be a little under rated for your camper/toy hauler.
If you are needing four wheels, I will need to steer you in a different direction. I think I would go with one of the two following options:
Lionshead Aluminum Eagle Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - 4,080-lb - Gunmetal Gray # LH68VR
Aluminum Sendel Series T17 Matte Black Mesh Trailer Wheel - 16" x 7" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - 4,400-lb # SEN37FR
These have a higher capacity and still look nice. I will admit to liking the black wheels, but they are a bit more expensive. Either one would also pair very nicely with the Goodyear Endurance tires, but I would also grab the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 as they are rated up to 200 psi. That way you can get the full performance out of the tire/wheel set up.

Thank You, I thought they were not rated for that capacity just figured I'd ask anyway. I was planning on getting a total of (5). Enough for the Toy hauler (4) and a spare.
