This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, everybody, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Goodyear Endurance ST 255/85 R16 radial tire with a beautiful 16-inch Eagle aluminum wheel with an 8 on 6 1/2-inch lug pattern. So, folks, this tire-wheel assembly is gonna be great for your campers, trailers, those kinda things. It is not made for vehicle use. I wanna put that out there from the front. It does meet all DOT specifications and it meets the SAE J 1204 standards, as well.
Now, overall, this is 33.07 inches. It's a load range E, which just means it's a 10-ply tire and the maximum load for the wheel and the tire is 4,080 pounds at 80 PSI. Now the maximum speed on this tire and wheel combo is 87 miles per hour or speed rating in. As always, make sure you're following your local rules and regulations. Now, the bolt pattern is an eight-lug and 8 on 6 1/2.
So if you measure center to center diagonally across on those lug holes, you would get 6 1/2 inches. Now, the wheel is 16-inch diameter. That's from bead seat to bead seat and it's a seven-inch wide wheel. The bolt hole size here for your lugs and the lug nuts and everything is gonna be a 1/2-inch hole or a 19/16-inch bolt size. Both of those will work fine in there.
The pilot hole is a 4.88, so if you're doing a center cap or something, it's a 4.88. Now, the tire wheel assembly, like I said, is great for those campers and trailers. On the wheel itself, zooming in here, you can see the nice Eagle aluminum wheel here. It has an automotive gray clear coat over this nice spoke design, and that's gonna keep scuffs and scratches from happening. It also has steel-lug inserts in the lug wells, so that's gonna keep the wheel securely in place on your trailer hub.
It's also gonna prevent those holes from wallowing out and those kinda things. And it's also gonna eliminate the need for you having to constantly re-tighten or check the lug nuts. Now this is a Goodyear Endurance radial tire. It's been constructed with double-steel belts and triple polyester flies for long life. It also has nylon thread-firming belts in there and those overlays will help prevent tread separation. It also features Tread-Wear Indicator, or TWI, and that makes it just a lot easier to see the tread depth. It features an inner liner inside the tire with a halobutyl-rubber construction and that reduces air loss. And like I said before, this is great for highway use. Its automotive-grade tread channels are gonna channel away the water from the tire to improve traction during those wet, snow, icy conditions. It also features Durawall technology to reinforce the sidewalls with a rubber compound that's made to prevent cuts and punctures. Now, it has a raised-scuff guard here on the sidewell, and that basically is gonna help keep you from scuffing this if you accidentally hit, like, a curb or something like that. And it has decoupling grooves that are gonna minimize irregular-tread wear and keep the tires cool while you're towing down the road. Now, from the start, I said this is an ST tire. That just means it's a special trailer tire. And that then basically just means that when they build these, the sidewalls are super sturdy and it's got extra, you know, strength inside the sidewalls to handle those heavy loads when you're pulling heavy stuff on those trailers. So, that being said, again, not intended for highway use. I'm sorry, not intended for use on other vehicles. So, again, trailers only, nothing that you're driving with. Now this assembly, again, meets all DOT specifications and the tire meets FMVSS specifications, as well. So, again, folks, just a nice, elegant wheel and tire combo. Once, again, great for your campers and trailers, not for use on, like, trucks, RVs, cars, SUVs, those kinda things. Just strictly what you're pulling stuff with. Again, because the makeup of the tire, it's made for those heavy weights and those kinda things. That's gonna wrap it up folks. I'm Steven, I wanna thank you so much for your time. I hope this information's been helpful for you. As always, stay safe while you're towing.
Tire and wheel are a almost perfect match to the original (wheel) but having a spare that will be a correct fit is what I was looking for, now to build the new mount under the trailer.
I just want to say this is truly a first-class operation. I haven’t bought a whole lot yet, but every single time I do, my order shows up incredibly fast. The videos you share before I purchase make me feel confident that I’m getting great quality, and the follow-up emails keeping me updated are so helpful. It’s rare these days to find a company that makes you feel this taken care of. I honestly love doing business with you guys and just wish I had more money to buy even more!
RIMS and tires are first class. Beautif ul
