Can a Heat Strip be Added to an 8K Furrion AC Unit?

I have a FACR08HESA2. Can you tell me if this or if another heat strip can be added?

Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out!

Your 8K Furrion AC Unit is too small for a heat strip to fit, unfortunately.

I confirmed with my contact at Furrion that there aren't any other options for your system either. If you were to upgrade to a 13.5K or 15K you would be able to use the Heat Strip # FR35SR, but I know that is a bit of a stretch when it comes to finances.

An alternative would be to add a fireplace in your trailer to add that little bit of heat element.

Hey Scott, did you decide to upgrade your AC unit or consider adding a fireplace for extra heat? I'm curious to know what you chose, as it could help others in a similar situation.
