Hey Mark. There is not a bushing on the hangers used on slipper spring trailers like item # e33SR. Smaller single axle trailers will have a bolt that runs through the hanger, some larger and tandem axle trailers will have a welded tube that the spring sits on, but there's no need to use a bushing.

The etrailer item # e33SR is a 26-1/4" long, 2,150 lbs capacity spring, that works with axles up to a 4,300 lbs capacity. It has a Dacromet finish, which is great for rust resistance.

What kind of trailer do you have?

@Mark You can put grease on it. Some people install wear strips to avoid metal on metal. We do not have these.
