What Battery Group Size Fits the Torklift Battery Box TLA7712RS the Best
Updated 02/17/2026 | Published 06/23/2024 >
Question:
I have this box on my 2017 Rockwood Mini Lite works great with my 2 6Volts in series Forklift Batteries. Although, they have aged out due to service time, I want to use 2 - 12Volt Batteries in parallel. I found that If I size up the Battery in my Tow Vehicle 2006 F350 group 65, it fits perfect in the box with out making space fillers. is there any reference to what battery group number to size up a battery or dual batteriesinch that will fit inside this particular box model. IE. 2 group 65 - 12 volt batterys or referencing battery group that will NOT fit. Thanks in Advance

Hey Rob, so Torklift does not have a lift of all battery groups that fit in the box part # TLA7712RS but if you know the 65 size works great I would just go with that size. The internal dimensions of this box are 23-1/2" long x 7-5/8" wide x 12-1/4" tall.

Hey Rob, did the group 65 batteries end up fitting well in your Torklift PowerArmor box? Knowing how that setup worked could help others trying to size their dual 12-volts for the same box. Your feedback would be a big help to the next person tackling this.
