Question:
I have a 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109. Three of the four Dexter self-adjusting electric brakes seem to be working fine, but one is not. On closer examination I discovered that the star adjusting wheel has four worn teeth not allowing for the “self-adjustment “. My question is… is there a kit that I can purchase that includes a new star adjustment assembly that I can purchase without getting a new backpack?.

Hi Wayne; you can replace the adjuster screw. We have the Replacement Brake Adjuster Screw # 048-023-00 (passenger side) and # 048-022-00 (driver's side). Both are designed to work with 10" or 12" Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes.

The first “tech” I posted my problem to with E-Trailer apparently DID’NT know about this simple solution. He gave me four options…all of which included the entire back plate assembly! Wish I had heard from you sooner, I wouldn’t have had to go directly to Dexter for a replacement “ kit” that does include the star-wheel adjuster. But I do appreciate your getting back with me on this question! Thanks ??
