Brakes Parts for Jayco With 5k Dexter Axle With 12" x 2" Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Brakes  

Question:

I know little about trailer axles. I have a Jayco with an EZ-LUBE 5000 86/68.5 6 lug 12x2 NEV-R-ADJUST without shock plate. Do you have a parts list for brake repair. Probably the backing plat is and all. Thanks

Hello James. We have the following parts available for your Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes:

-Replacement Dexter Adjusting Spring # 046-139-00

-Replacement Shoe and Lining for Nev-R-Adjust 12" x 2" Electric - RH # K71-676

-Replacement Shoe and Lining for Nev-R-Adjust 12" x 2" Electric - LH # K71-675

-Replacement Adjustment Screw Kit for Dexter Nev-R-Adjust 12" Electric Trailer Brakes # DX43QR

-Adjuster Plugs for 7", 10", and 12" Brake Assemblies - Qty 4 # BP10-220

In most cases it is better to replace the entire brake assembly instead of attempting to replace parts/repair them. If you want to stick with Dexter brakes you can use the # 23-458-459. We also have our own brand of brakes which are the # AKEBRK-7-SA if you want to save a little money.
