Replacing Mobile Home Trailer Hub With a Hub that is Compatible with Standard Rims and Tires

Question:
Do you have replacement hubs for house trailer axle hubs, so i can use a regular rim and tire size?

To determine if there are compatible hubs and associated bearings to replace your current hubs to a more standard size you will have to take several precise measurements on the spindle of your axle. It is recommended to use a set of dial calipers to obtain these measurements.
You will need to measure the seal, inner bearing, and outer bearing. It is also possible that there may be bearing numbers stamped on these parts as well, and those would be helpful in obtaining the correct replacement compatible hub. I have included a photo showing these measurement locations and possible bearing numbers.
Please be aware that mobile home axles were originally intended for a single use applications. Mobile home axles are commonly used for home made trailers since they are readily available. Since mobile home axles are not intended for continued use, replacement parts and compatible conversion parts are not usually readily available.
It is possible that there may not be a compatible replacement hub that will convert your current mobile home axle to a more traditional size of hub, that can be used with standard size rims, tires and other associated replacement parts.
If you are able to get the bearing numbers, and or the measurements on the spindles, I would be happy to see if we have anything available. However, for compatibility and safety reasons it may be easier to replace your mobile home axle with a standard trailer axle, and then compatible parts would be more readily available.
