What Attached Furrion RV Microwave to Cabinets

Question:

I just received my Furrion FMCM15SS to replace a broken one. However, there are no instructions for mounting it. Specifically, how do I remove the plastic trim above the current unit? in order to remove the broken unit. You sell a replacement for the trim Replacement Stainless Steel Trim for Furrion Over-the-Range RV Microwave Part Number: FR47VD but there are no instructions on how to remove the existing piece. Help?

Hey Robert, open the cabinet above the microwave and you'll see a bracket that holds it from the top. That's basically all there really is to it. Check there and let me know what you find and if you are still stuck.

The cabinet above the microwave has a solid piece of lauan plyood. There are no visible brackets, bolts or screws. Do I need to disassembly the cabinet in order to remove the lauan, in order to access the bracket? Thanks

@RobertH You usually do not have to do that but before going that route see if there's brackets for the sides of the microwave in cabinets to the left and right of the microwave.
