Question:

I am trying to source replacement brakes and bearings for a 2017 Forest River Wildcat 30dbh with Lippert 5100 lb axles pn v000423837. Can you assist? These are a 6 lug tire.

Hey Jarrett, thanks for the information! To replace your hubs, bearings, and brake assemblies you'll need the following parts:

Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 item # 8-201-5UC3-EZ - Sold individually

Manual Adjusted - Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies item # 23-180-181 - Sold as a pair

Self Adjusting - Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies item # 23-458-459 - Sold as a pair

Are you planning on replacing these parts yourself?

Replacing them myself was the plan. I am a mechanic by trade but this is a big job!

@JarrettM Oh you will be good then! This is easier than you think. The main difficulty is getting the trailer jacked up and washing off bearing grease item # L11380 if you don't wear gloves. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
