Video Transcript for Review of Furrion 12V Power Accessories - 12 Volt Socket With Waterproof Cap - FR36XD

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Furrion 12 volt socket with waterproof cap. Now this is going to let you add or replace a 12 volt power socket to charge your electrical accessories. So this is gonna be perfect for your RVs, boats, and off-road vehicles. This waterproof cap is going to protect against water damage.

It's gonna be very easy to replace and remove. And this is going to be a pretty simple installation. It does include the quick nut here and also a rubber washer. I'm just gonna go ahead and pull those off. And then we have these spade terminals that are gonna, of course, hardwire to your 12 volt DC power source.

This is ROHS compliant. The amperage is 15 amps. The voltage again is 12 volt to 24 volt. I do want to give you some measurements. I'm gonna take this plate off first and I just wanna measure the overall, I guess you could say depth, call it depth, so measuring right from this plate right here at the front all the way to the end here, not including those terminals, we're sitting at about an inch and a half.

If you wanna include the terminals, we're pretty close to two inches it looks like. And then looking at the plate, the face plate if you wanna call it that, looks like we're sitting at about two and three eighth inches wide, not quite two and a half inches wide. And then we can call the height. Let me bring this back here so you can see, about one and three quarters inches tall. And then if you're wondering about those holes on center, let me see if I can line this up for you so you can see, might be kind of tricky.

So it looks like on center on those mounting holes, almost two inches, maybe closer to one. And line that up there again, one and seven eighths maybe, but right around one and seven eighths to two inches, it's pretty close. Hopefully you can see that there. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of what to expect. I'm gonna go ahead and pop the plate right on there. And then our washer and then our quick nut. So again, it'd be a very easy installation. Does include this little instruction sheet to walk you through that installation process. But I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
