Will Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs CSS-1125R Work With H&R Lift Springs?

Question:
I am interested in the CSS-1125R sumo springs for my 2007 CRV. When I carry my bike and my hitch rack and have a full load in my trunk, the rear sags pretty low. I am thinking about putting HandR lift springs. Would the sumo springs work with the HandR springs. The lift would be about 1.2”. Thanks Jim

Hello Jim, thanks for reaching out. So the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1125R are designed for the factory coil springs. They can be used with aftermarket spring also as long as the coil spacing and the diameter of the coils themselves are the same as the factory springs. Looking at the H&R springs online they appear to be similar to the factory springs but you will definitely want to verify that when you install them. We do not carry the H&R springs here so I do not have much info on them.

Hey Jim, did you get a chance to verify if the H&R springs have the same coil spacing and diameter as the factory springs? I'm curious to know if the SumoSprings worked out for your setup, as it could help others with similar needs.
