WF89 30/50 Replacement Converter to Charge Lithium Battery Bank

Question:

I have a 2020 Mesa ridge lite 2602rl. Stock 12v system withWF89 30/50 that does not support lithium batteries. Our original lead acid batteries are going dead and want to replace with a couple of 200ah batteries. We have replaced the refrigerator with a 10cu 120v fridge from Home-Depot. We currently use a Jackery type setup to run the fridge during travel days. Works great but I would like the new lithium batteries to take on that job while driving as well as supply the 12v to the rest of the trailer as normal. So I am not sure what I need to replace the charge controller from the wf-89 30/50 to something that is lithium only and what I would need to run the fridge when not on shore power. Thanks

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out!

The WF89 30/50 doesn't charge you battery bank as there is a different converter elsewhere in your RV. It will be similar to the Progressive Dynamics 9300 # PD79RR, and if you can find it and let me know what you have, I'll be able to recommend a proper replacement for you.
