Can Brophy Rope Ring Tie-Down Anchor Be Mounted Using Center Hole Only

Question:

Is it necessary to use 2 screws to hold the outer black ring, or can you just attach with the 3/8 center bolt. I dont want to add any more holes in my wood bed. Thanks

Hey Steve! You can mount the Brophy Rope Ring Tie-Down Anchor # RR09 using just the center hole. That outer bezel is plastic so it is basically there for aesthetics and isn't holding any weight. Just make sure the mounting hardware you choose and the mounting surface are able to handle the force and you're set.

What are you using the tie-downs for?
