Replacment Positive Magnet for Compartment Door Holder

Question:
Hi, I’m needing replacement magnets for my compartment doors but I’m not sure if I need the negative or positive. I’m thinking positive because the ones that are bad busted open will not hold a screwdriver and the ones that are on the doors will hold a screwdriver too them. They look identical I just not sure on the pos/neg part. Thanks for your help. Brian

Hey Brian, yes you are correct and you do need positive magnetic door holders like the part # BA58VR that you referenced. How are yours broken?

It appears that they have rusted and swelled inside the plastic which has split open. They aren’t flat anymore so they aren’t contacting enough to hold like before.
