Had this bug deflector for a year now. Very happy with it. Easy to install yourself using existing parts on the stock truck. Better than the adhesive only on other brands. Solid and looks great.
The Weather Tec bug defector is a well designed, well engineered product that fit my F250 perfectly. Installation was simple but it does require the special plastic plug removal tool to prevent tearing the seal. I just happened to have one so it made my job easier. I didn’t want a defector that mounted to the hood with tape. I like the clips much better. However, I would recommend an additional person to help install it. It’s not heavy but it is large. Positioning it where it needs to go and inserting the screws is difficult without help. I did it myself but I could have saved time if I had help. All in all, it took me about 40 minutes to install. It looks nice on the truck but it covers up the Superduty lettering on the hood. Maybe future designs would include those embossed letters. Nevertheless, it looks great and functions well.
I purchased this bug deflector for my Jayco Greyhawk motorhome about a year ago and it has held up beautifully. I am sure that without it I would have chips and issues on the motorhome after putting 15k miles on it. Thanks e-trailer for quick shipments and great support.
Weather Tech products are great fit and finish. Etrailer shipped my bug shield order out quickly and arrived undamaged. This is not my first order from Etrailer. I’ve bookmarked their web page and they are one of my vendors of choice when I need something for our RV.
This bug guard could not have been any easier to put on my GMC 2009 1500. The piece from the factory simply fell off my truck and I need to put something over the holes in the hood. I went to the WeatherTech site and found that I could have purchased for a less then what I paid at etrailer. A lot less, that's my only gripe. Shipping was super and timing was great too.

Bought a bug deflector for my daughters F-350 Super Duty. Arrived really fast and the install was almost 10 minutes. LOL So easy and looks real good. I buy all the stuff for her horse trailer from etrailer. Did the brakes last year, so easy.
I have purchased and used WeatherTech products in the past, always had good quality and concise installation instructions. I recently added the Stone and Bug deflector on my 2019 Colorado, it looks great. Having a new windshield installed because of a stone crack, hope to avoid these in the future.
The deflector itself is of good quality but the mounting hardware (plastic) sucks and caused me to engineer my own fasteners.
I would NOT purchased from Weather Tech again and believe etrailer should stop selling their products… The provided (4) fasteners have what felt like plastic, very finely threaded, undersized screws. In order to install the fasteners you have to apply a significant amount of pressure to the screw head. Three of the four screws just slid into the fastener and did not enlarge the buried section of the fastener enough to secure the bug shield to the hood (to the point that the hood would not even latch because the bug shield was held on so loosely). I tried several other of my own fasteners with varied results. I finally found some screws that were about 2-3 times the diameter and had much more aggressive threads. I had to cut them down to size and file the ends smooth. When I applied pressure to these screws the fastener sunk to the correct depth and the screws were large enough to cause the buried portion to spread out and anchor the bug shield to the hood. Surprise! The hood now closed properly at this point and the shield felt like it was attached solidly. From start to finish I spent about two hours trying various fasteners. At one point I considered drilling new holes in the bug shield and using screws and washers to attach it, but I was so frustrated with the installation that I was strongly considering returning the product. I eventually put two and two together and figured out the issue was the provided incorrect size, plastic screws that weren't working. Once I replaced them with the thicker screw with larger threads it all came together.
The bug deflector fit perfectly on my 2021 Coach House Platinum 272xl. I’m very happy with the deflector!!!

Very nice profile & a perfect fit for my 2011 E350 Super Duty. Came with a few scratches, so we got that outta the way. All screws provided are steel. Really not thinking that the bumpers provided are needed for this application. Time/Miles will tell.
Installation was easy and after a year, including one Northern WI winter, its holding up well.
I’ve owned six chevy trucks. My current trusted steed is a 2008, silverado 2500HD, ext cab, long box. I bought it new and now have 339,000 miles on her. I added this bug shield to offer more protection and grace. It worked! Love it.
Item arrived quickly and was as described. Only complaint was that the plastic fastener screws were either too short or too cheap because they wouldn't "catch" in the fasteners. I substituted my own screws and then it was a breeze. That isn't etrailer.com's fault though. Everything on their end was great!

2018 Toyota Rav4 Adventure. Item arrived quickly! The shipping box was damaged but the defector inside was fine. The product was described as on the website.
Only complaint really is with WeatherTech they are know for great products but screw up in other areas. They shrink wrap the defector and they really need to cover it before doing that because mine had a few scratches. The next things is the plastic fastener screws are too cheap and break and need to be longer.
Great quality, good fit overall…BUT, once again WeatherTech is “cheaping out” on their fasteners! Those ridiculous plastic push pin type fasteners DO NOT inspire confidence at all…the etrailer installation video acknowledged this. Come on WeatherTech…these things are IMPORTANT!!
