Hey Bob. The Carr Hitch Mounted Step for 2" Trailer Hitches item # CARR183252 will not cause any problems with the backup camera on your 2024 Chevrolet Colorado. This step measures 5" long x 2-1/2" wide, has a massive weight capacity of 650 lbs, and inserts right into your Colorado's 2" hitch receiver.
To secure it from theft, I recommend using the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock item # e98881. This lock will fit a 2" and 2-1/2" receiver and can be keyed alike if you order more than one at a time.
