Size of Bolts on Draw-Tite 76398 Hitch

Question:

Hi...I want to chase the threads with a tap on my 2021 Santa Fe before I try to put the bolts in. Can you tell me what size they are? It is a 76398 Hitch.

Hi Glenn; the Draw-Tite 76398 hitch uses M12 X 1.25 X 40mm bolts so that is what you will need to match. We do recommend using lubricant like WD-40 and a wire brush before going this route. That is typically enough to do the trick and get the bolts in for your standard hitch installation.
