What is the Capacity of the Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchors At An Angle?

Question:
Hello E-Trailer- Im new to trailering a need a little help. Have a 600lb item on a pallet I need to get up the ramp door and into my enclosed cargo trailer. Unfortunately I cannot drive a fork truck on the ramp as they are too heavy. Im thinking of possibly installing some D-Rings and using a Come-Along to pull the pallet up the ramp. So a few questions: 1 the D-Ring rating for example, 2000lbs is that in the up/down direction ceiling to floor? What would it be perpendicular to the floor? For example pulling in a left/right direction? I hope that makes sense. 2 if you have any suggestions for products you offer that can help get a pallet up the trailer ramp, Id really appreciate any suggestion. Thank you

Hey Robert. The Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchors w Backing Plates and Hardware item # RR6K-4 have a 2,000 lbs working load limit per d-ring in all directions. So long as you have them properly installed they'll be more than sufficient to handle your 600 lbs pallet. I'd be more concerned about the pallet breaking then the d-rings failing.
Is this heavy object going to be pulled in and out of your trailer or is this just a one time issue with loading it? If you have access to a forklift or have some one to help you it may just be easier to remove the ramp door to get it loaded. What is it?

Hi Jerred- Thanks for checking in. I'd missed your first reply. I attempted a reply a few days back but nothing would get added to this thread. Live Chat said you were having some issues so trying again... I did not get the load in the trailer yet. It is a 1-time deal (tire equipment) and I will also need to secure the equipment to the trailer once inside. Glad to know those D-Rings will work but I think I am going to support the door in a level position with some jack stands. Then use a fork lift or a duct jack to set the pallet on the door. Move the pallet into the trailer using my hand truck from there. Door can support 2500lbs, so can't drive the fork lift on it, but I hope this will work if loading from the side. Hopefully this message gets through. I will be happy to share how I finally get it in and secured to the floor. Thanks again, Robert
