Looking For Replacement 7-Way Plug With Double Prong Design

Updated 10/23/2025 | Published 07/11/2025

Question:

I have a 7 pin plug on my 16 ft landscape utility trailer that is all corroded up and I want to change it. I would just cut the plug off and put a new one on the cable instead of replacing the whole cable too. Only problem is any trailer replacement plugs I have found that just attaches to the cable only has single prongs in each socket and I want double prongs on the plug. Do you have anything like that or do you know where to get one?

Hey Will, thanks for reaching out. What I recommend for replacing your 7-way is the following:

- etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector # e99011

Wiring your connections thru the junction box helps keep them organized and out of the elements. This plug has the double prong design I believe you are looking for. Take a look at the picture I included. Is that what you are looking for?

@Joan Hello Joan. I am not seeing we have that exact double prong style of plug sold by itself. We have the single prong 7-way plugs sold individually like part # A7WCB, but for the double prong style the # e99011 is the only one I am seeing and it comes with the cord and junction box.

@JesseM Thank you. Unfortunately, the powers that be have decided not to produce just a plug requiring you to buy the plug and the cord for more money. ??

@Joan Yes that double prong style of plug just isn't that common anymore. Sorry. I wish I had better news for you. Do feel free to come back anytime you need anything.
