Titan BrakeRite Disc Brake Actuator Will Not Build Up Pressure After Sitting For Several Years

Question:
We have a 2016 Bunkhouse Tent Trailer. It has the Titan Brakelite with breakaway installed. I can hear a clicking sound when the brakes are applied, but doesnt move the disc calapairs. The trailer sat for about 3-years not being used in a shop. I bleed the system on both sides no change, took both calipers off and cleaned them thoroughly reinstalled and bleed both sides again with no change. Again I can hear the Brakelite system make the clicking sound every time I apply the brakes. Im stumped on what else to do

It sounds like you have one of 2 issues. First it could be the pump itself is damaged and unable to build pressure which would mean you are most likely going to have to get a Replacement # DX82KR. You could also have some air in the pump which you need to tilt the unit on its back to prime the pump as seen in the image below. If you are unable to get it to prime this way then you most likely have a damaged pump and it needs replaced.

Hey, what ended up happening with your BrakeRite actuator after you tried priming the pump? Knowing if that solved the pressure issue could really help others working through the same brake problem.
