Can The Sunroof/Moonroof Be Opened When A Roof Box Is Installed?

Question:
Will a Thule Motion 3 XL fit on a 2025 Hyundai Hybrid Santa Fe with sunroof/ moonroof allowing the sunroof to function? I assume the low version will get in the way of the sunroof? Same Q re: Thule Force 3 L/ 3L Sport. Im unclear on all the differences and sizes but would like to be able to use the sunroof.

Hi Joanna!
The Thule Motion 3 XL # TH67PN, Force 3 L # TH67SA, and Force 3 Sport # TH77SA all use the same clamping system, as do all the new Thule roof boxes for that matter. With that said, we generally say to not open the sunroof/moonroof with something like this installed. There is a chance it won't cause any interference, but there is also a chance that it will. We haven't had a 2025 Hyundai Hybrid Santa Fe to test this as of yet, so we can't say for sure.
Do you already have a roof rack/crossbars installed?
